Fast Ethernet Media Converter FCNCS-1EN-1ES Series
The FCNCS-1EN-1ES series Fast Ethernet media converter can convert Fast Ethernet to 10/100Base-TX signal to 100Base-FX signal and vice versa. It comes with a small form-factor pluggable (SFP) slot which allows the transmission distance to be extended by the type of SFP transceiver selected.
Gigabit Ethernet Media Converter FCNCS-1GN-1GS Series
The FCNCS-1GN-1GS series Gigabit Ethernet media converter can convert Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000Base-TX signal to 100/1000Base-FX signal and vice versa. It can transmit signals at a faster speed than Fast Ethernet. It comes with a small form-factor pluggable (SFP) slot for the fiber interface which allows the transmission distance to be extended by the SFP transceiver supported. When the network link is down, it can be detected easily, as the converter can support the Link Fault Pass-through (LFP) function which monitors network links.
